Melissa is the Executive Director for Dancing Classrooms DC, a program that teaches children in the public schools of Washington, DC an introduction to Ballroom Dance (as seen in the movies Mad Hot Ballroom and Take the Lead). Through this Social Emotional learning program she not only brings the joy of dance to children, but also teaches them social etiquette and confidence.
